Philadelphia has recently launched a new product, a stir in sauce called “Simply Stir”.
Philadelphia Simply Stir is a brand new range of ever-so-simple cooking sauces that taste absolutely delicious.
Available from April in two mouth-watering Philadelphia flavours (Mushroom and Garlic & Herb), Simply Stir can take just a few minutes to make a tasty meal from pouch to plate and the end result is always smooth, creamy and fantastically Philly!
Topped on chicken or added to a pasta dish, Simply Stir is bound to be your new fridge staple and can be found next to Philly in the chiller aisle at your local supermarket.
Creamy Mushroom Chicken Recipe (Serves 4)
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
- 2 tsp oil
- 4 small chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 200g Philadelphia Simply Stir Mushroom
- 240g uncooked rice
- 300g broccoli florets, cooked
Cook the rice according to the pack instructions.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned and the chicken juices run clear when tested with a knife.
Reduce the heat slightly and sir in the Simply Stir and heat through.
Serve with the cooked rice and broccoli.
The whole family enjoyed the Creamy Mushroom Chicken, it was well seasoned and tasty. We were quite impressed how quick and easy the dish was.
We will be making another dish with Philadelphia Simply Stir soon, we will be trying the Garlic & Herb flavour, can’t wait!
