Christmas is only a few days away and we are so looking forward to our Christmas dinner. We are hosting it this year and we can’t wait to have a lovely Christmas meal with our loved ones. If you are anything like us, you will make far too much food and end up with a year’s supply of turkey, stuffing and Brussels sprouts.
We received a lovely hamper with Unilever products to jazz up the leftovers of our Christmas meal. The hamper included the perfect accompaniments for our Christmas meal, not forgetting some sauces for the leftovers.
We were sent a selection of Colman’s sauces, white, parsley, bread and onion, Colman’s sauces, cranberry, mint, horseradish and apple, and Colman’s instant beef gravy. We also received regular and light Hellmann’s mayonnaise, and a range of flavoured mayonnaise, Hellmann’s Mayonnaise with a zing of lemon, with a touch of garlic, with a pinch mustard and with a hint of caramelised onion.
I know it’s not Christmas yet, but we love turkey, so we have a pre-Christmas meal. On the following day, there was lots of food left, as usual, so we used the leftovers to make tasty wraps with our lovely hamper.
We made Turkey Salad Wrap with Garlic Hellmann’s Mayonnaise by simply adding shredded turkey and salad leaves inside a wrap with a good squeeze Hellmann’s Mayonnaise with a touch of garlic. It was very tasty and can be made in a minute, the garlic mayo added a lovely flavour to the turkey.
We also made Cranberry Stuffing Wrap with Colman’s Cranberry Sauce. The wrap had stuffing and Brussels sprouts enjoyed with a generous spoon of cranberry sauce. Perfect idea to use up leftover sprouts. So yummy!
We are looking forward to our Christmas meal next week and we will be sharing our leftover meals and sandwiches using our Christmas condiments. For more recipes on how to make the most of your leftover, you can follow @UnileverKitchen
I was sent a Christmas Condiments hamper to create leftover meals and sandwiches, however the opinions expressed in this post are honest and my own.
