Dermalex Rosacea: Skin Treatment Cream

I believe by now, everyone knows that I have rosacea. I was diagnosed with rosacea over 5 years ago, my face is usually red with red spots on my cheeks. I look after my skin using products designed for sensitive skin as they are not as harsh on my rosacea.

Dermalex offers a breakthrough range of steroid free, clinically proven skin repair creams for the treatment of eczema, psoriasis and rosacea, which are effective as a stand alone treatment as well as being safe to use in combination with other treatment options. Developed by dermatologists, the products are fragrance, paraben and steroid-free.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that affects a wide range of people, although those with fair skin are at greater risk. Rosacea causes episodes of flushing that can develop into a burning sensation accompanied by permanent redness of the skin, most commonly on the face.

Whilst traditional treatments such as make up and antibiotics mask and reduce some symptoms of rosacea, new Dermalex Rosacea has a unique Barrier Repair Accelerating Complex that works to activate the skin’s own repair mechanism, relieving the symptoms of rosacea including flushing, persistent redness and visible blood vessels.

The treatment cream helps to restore the thick outer layer of skin, thus reducing flare ups and its protective ingredients soothe, calm and moisturise affected areas. I really like the fact that Dermalex Rosacea is steroid free, so it can be used safely without time or quantity limitations.

I have been using a thin layer of Dermalex Rosacea twice a day after cleansing my skin and before applying my make-up. I can say that my skin feels moisturised and less red, I can also see that my red stops are less noticeable and I could see visible results after a few days of using Dermalex Rosacea.

I am aware that there is no cure for rosacea and I will have to live with it for the rest of my life, but at least I have found a skin treatment cream to reduce redness and dryness, while also restoring my skin’s barrier.
