Hi I’m Claire Louise, mother of three and author of the blog “A boy with Aspergers”

I’m here today as the very supportive and lovely ‘Lilinha Angel’ invited me over to drum up some support.

You see, my blog A boy with Aspergers which opens a window to my life, a mother of three children, one diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, has made it to the final of the Mad blog awards 2012 and has been placed amongst four other brilliant blogs in the category ‘most inspiring’

Voting is open for one more week… Yes just one… My tummy is doing somersaults seriously!

I know that Lilinha has been a very supportive blog follower for some time and despite her child not being on the autism spectrum, she is always happy to retweet my tweets and help me raise awareness.

A boy with Aspergers offers something for everyone. As a parent to both children with and without Aspergers Syndrome I have plenty to say and share. On my blog you’ll discover my struggles, achievements, difficult days and good days. Updates on governments plans for those with Special educational needs, lots of advocating and campaigns, as well as everyday parenting dilemmas. Plus A boy with Aspergers shares some honest reviews of awesome products from toys fashion items to homeware and DVDs.

I also love a good meme and Linky and love to share the odd photo 🙂

I also try to get the word out when it comes to up and coming events such as pre-school productions, festivals, and more.

If all that wasn’t enough you will also find some great competitions over on the blog… As I’m sure the lovely Lilinha can vague for!

I do really love writing my blog, its been in my life for almost 4 years now, it’s an outlet, a space to express my feelings and support others where I can.

I was extremely lucky to actually win a mad blog award last year.
I was crowned most inspiring Mad blogger in 2011 and being in this years final allows me the opportunity to cling onto my status.
