Maggi So Juicy, Maggi So Crispy Cookery Event

I was delighted to be invited on Wednesday to a private cookery class at the Cookery School organised by Frank PR.

At the cookery event, we had the opportunity to make and sample the new delicious range of Maggi So Crispy and Maggi So Juicy dishes. A Maggi cooking expert was on hand to offer top tips on how to make tasty family meals.

The evening started with a glass on Pimms, perfect for the lovely hot weather we are having lately! Each one of us had our working stations and the ingredients were all ready for us.

Our first dish was chicken with peppers and onions using Maggi So Juicy Mexican Chicken which is a clever way of cooking without making a mess.

You just need to add your ingredients and the seasoning in the sachet in the cooking bag, place into an ovenproof dish and straight in the oven.

Maggi So Juicy is a range of exciting recipe mixes with a special cooking bag included. The effortless way to make tasty, tender and juicy chicken.

The special bag enables the chicken to cook in its own juice meaning there is no need to add oil or sauce. The result is a delicious meal the whole family will love, it is So Juicy!

Maggi so Juicy is available in several delicious flavours: Chunky Chilli con Carne, Rosemary & Garlic Roast Chicken, Mexican Chicken, Chicken Chasseur, Chicken Balti, Oriental Soy & Garlic Chicken, Sticky BBQ for Chicken, Smoky BBQ for Ribs, Rich Red Wine & Shallots for Beef, Mixed Herbs for Chicken, Garlic for Chicken, Paprika for Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken.

We then made sweetcorn rice and guacamole as side dishes for our Mexican Chicken. I didn’t know how easy it was to make guacamole, so I will be making it at home.

You only need an avocado, juice of half a lime, a clove of garlic and half a tomato.

We then used Maggi So Crispy to make a lovely crispy chicken in the oven without oil. I chose Maggi Chilli Chicken as I like spicy food. It was really easy to use Maggi So Crispy!

You only need the contents of the sachet and an egg to coat the chicken. Maggi so Crispy is available in Herb & Garlic Chicken, Chilli Chicken and Lemon & Herb Chicken.

Once it was cooked, we had the chance to try it and it was gorgeous! We were sent home with a goodie bag, so I will definitely be trying my Maggi samples soon! Watch out this space for lovely and simple chicken recipes!

A big thank you to Maggi and Frank PR for such a lovely evening! I have learnt a few tips, so maybe one day I could become a better cook than my chef husband! 🙂
