Philips ReAura VIP Party

I was delighted to be one of the lucky Philips Beauty VIPs to attend an amazing event on Friday organised by Emanate PR. Not only I was thrilled to be invited; I could also bring a friend with me! Brilliant opportunity for a girlie night out!

There was champagne on arrival at Soho Hotel followed by skin consultation with Dr Sam Bunting, leading Harley Street Cosmetic Dermatologist and ReAura Ambassador. I had a lovely chat with Dr Sam, we discussed in detail the benefits of Philips ReAura and whether it was suitable for my skin, as I have rosacea. I am aware there is no cure for rosacea, however I was told that the redness could decrease as a result of the laser skin rejuvenation treatment. At the end of the skin consultation, I was given a very special goody bag!

Following the skin consultation, Kate Murrell from Emanate PR explained how to use Philips ReAura and I had the opportunity to test it on my arm. Kate demonstrated Philips ReAura on her arm first and she was ok, so I thought it was safe for me to do it on my arm too!  It was not painful, only tingles. Kate shared her own experience with Philips ReAura, which was great to hear from someone that has already done the treatment. 

I was also advised what I should expect after my first treatment and how often I should use Philips ReAura. My face could get quite red after the first treatment, however I shouldn’t worry as it is normal and should be gone by the morning. Philips ReAura should be used twice a week, but not consecutive days.

I haven’t started my treatment yet, however I am very excited about Philips ReAura! You can rejuvenate your skin at the comfort of your own home and it works out much cheaper than having laser treatments at a clinic. My plan is putting little man to bed and getting myself pampered with Philips ReAura. It comes with a laser performance gel for optimal skin contact and laser aftercare complex to hydrate during cell renewal.

Besides, we had the chance to try a prototype of a new product in the evening: Philips Lumea, great solution to remove unwanted hair. I tested it on my leg and it has a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing the final product once it is out in September.

Overall, it was a great event where we had the chance to discuss Philips ReAura in depth and also have a laugh. It was a relaxing evening and very informative.

My friend and I had a lovely chat with Erica Myers from Emanate PR and we found out we live nearby. Perhaps we should meet up for a ReAura evening.

I shouldn’t forget to mention the lovely canapés, smoked salmon, tuna, spring roll and sweet canapés, meringue nest, mini cupcakes and mini ice cream cones. They were very delicious! I definitely felt like a Beauty VIP!

I cannot wait to start using my Philips ReAura and my friend was also given one too! So we will be having our treatment at the same time! I will keep you posted of our results! Watch this space!
