Review: FAB Anti-Redness Serum and FAB Face Cleanser
A few weeks ago I reviewed FAB Ultra Repair Cream and after only two weeks, I noticed that my skin was visibly more hydrated and smooth.
Ultra Repair Cream provides immediate relief and visible improvements for distressed skin. It relieves skin irritation and itching, it also hydrates and calms your skin. I was impressed with the results of Ultra Repair Cream, so I was looking forward to trying other FAB products.
I was sent FAB Anti-Redness Serum and FAB Face Cleanser from First Aid Beauty to test and see how my skin gets on with it.
Due to my rosacea, I have rosy cheeks most of the time. At the beginning, when I was diagnosed with rosacea a few years ago, I was wearing foundation to hide my skin redness, however I have decided to embrace my rosy cheeks. Sometimes my skin flares up and it gets quite sore and inflamated, so instead of hiding my rosacea with make-up, I have been looking for creams to treat it.
FAB Face Cleanser is a daily essential, an airy cream that gently cleanses the skin, removing impurities, surface oils, skin toxins and make-up.
The face cleanser is infused with FAB antioxidant Booster, a blend of powerful botanical antioxidants to stave off environmental damage for healthy, glowing skin. The creamy cleanser has aloe to help calm redness, glycerine to moisturize and help protect the skin, pH-balanced to maintain the natural acidity of the skin.
I really like FAB Face Cleanser, you only need to dampen your face and disperse a small amount of the cleanser onto your fingertips and delicately massage into all zones of your face.
It has a whipped texture that transforms into a rich cream when blended with water. I wash it off with water, however you can also remove it with a soft cloth.
Although FAB Face Cleanser is fragrance free, it has a lovely smell, leaving your face feeling clean and fresh, but not dry. It is a mild, non-irritating formula, recommended for daily use in the morning and at night. It is suitable for sensitive skin, helping to calm irritated and reactive skin.
FAB Anti-Redness Serum is part of the intense repair range with FAB antioxidant Booster, which defends the skin against free radical damage. It contains caffeine to help reduce visible skin redness, while aloe, feverfew and ginger all work together to help soothe the skin.
Caffeine, natural vasoconstrictor, improves skin redness by shrinking blood vessels. Colloidal sulphur combats what causes facial redness, aloe soothes the skin and ginger works as a natural and powerful anti-inflammatory.
You only need to apply a thin layer of FAB Anti-Redness Serum over your entire face in the morning and at night after cleansing with FAB Face Cleanser and before applying other skincare products. I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis, so my skincare regime is complete after FAB Face Cleanser and Anti-Redness Serum.
FAB Anti-Redness Serum together with FAB Face Cleanser helped me to control my mild rosacea. I noticed an improvement in my skin redness immediately after applying them, my skin felt less irritated. My rosy cheeks got better within a few days of using FAB products. In one word, First Aid Products are FAB! They are suitable for sensitive skin and anyone with facial redness.
FAB products are available at selected Boots stores, Boots.com , www.beautybay.com and www.bathandunwind.com, FAB Face Cleanser for only RRP £13.00 and FAB Anti-Redness Serum for only RRP £20.00. As you only need a small amount of each product, they will last several weeks, so it is good price for such a great product. It has definitely improved my confidence as it calmed my skin, reduced flare ups and skin redness. First Aid Beauty has other products, so it is worth checking out their range.
