Celebrating My Little Olympian’s Achievements #PGRaisingOlympians

We find extremely important to always cheer on little man to achieve his dreams, from organizing his books in the bookshelf in size order to completing a Climb-a-thon at nursery with his little friends.

My little boy tends to give up easily, perhaps it’s a boy’s thing, so it is essential to motivate him and keep telling him to try again. Eventually, he will get it right and have a beautiful smile on his face. It is priceless when he finally achieves what he has been trying a few times.

Little man’s nursery organized a Climb-a-thon event to raise funds to refurbish their garden. Although they have a large garden with a lot of potential, it needs some work so the children can make the most out of the outdoors space.

We were sent a form and started asking for friends and family to sponsor little man’s first nursery sport’s event.

I must say I was so proud of him, he climbed all the frames, lost his balance and fell from one or two frames, had a few problems getting stuck in one of them, but he had a smile the whole way.

He loved the whole experience, and as a parent, I was there right beside him, cheering him on and telling him to keep trying, keep going!

Once the Climb-a-thon event finished, all the children sat down and waited patiently for their name to be called at the awards ceremony. When they finally called little man, he stood up and run to the podium.

He was given a lovely star medal for taking part and all his little friends were also given the same star medal for raising funds and climbing the different obstacles.

It was quite emotional watching the awards ceremony and clapping for the little ones that took part in the Climb-a-thon event. Not only they were helping the nursery garden, they also had a great day full of climbing fun.

I wonder what it must be like to watch your Olympian children at the podium, must be amazing! Well done to all the Olympians’ mums for giving them motivation throughout their journey.
