Review: KETTLE® Tortilla Chips
KETTLE® Foods already has a delicious range of hand cooked chips that have been around for over 25 years, now they have launched a new range of Tortilla Chips.
KETTLE® Tortilla Chips are made the traditional way, baked until golden and lightly roasted in sunflower oil. KETTLE® prides itself on using the best quality ingredients, using only corn kernels to guarantee a fresh corn taste.
KETTLE® Tortilla Chips are available in four flavours: Sweet Chilli Salsa, Sea Salted, Cool Sour Cream and Nacho Cheese. Sprinkled with tasty seasonings, each flavour in the range is inspired by authentic Mexican recipes, and is free from all artificial flavours and colours.
I was sent a selection of KETTLE® Tortilla Chips to try and I was impressed! They taste absolutely lovely and crunchy! The tortilla are made the traditional way from real ground corn!
As my favourite flavour is Sweet Chilli Salsa, it was the first bag that I tried. The crispy tortilla triangles are seasoned with a blend of chilli, cool tomato and spicy pepper. They are not too spicy, just the right amount of seasoning!
Sea Salted are plain tortilla chips, great combination with a refreshing drink and a tasty dip. Delicious!
Cool Sour Cream not only has sour cream seasoning, it also has a hint of garlic – Yummy!
I was also sent recipes card for dips and I was planning on trying the tortilla with the suggested dips, but they just went so quick! I didn’t get the chance to make the dips. By the time I saw, the tortilla chips were already gone!
Overall, KETTLE® Tortilla Chips are full of flavour and crunchy, the perfect snack while watching tv or relaxing on the sofa – that’s what we were doing when we enjoyed our tortilla chips. Now I’m looking forward to trying the Nacho Cheese flavour!
KETTLE® Tortilla Chips are available now in Morrisons and Tesco stores nationwide, RRP £1.85 for a 160g bag. They will also be available soon in supermarkets nationwide including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and ASDA.
