I was sent Ecoegg Laundry Egg and Ecoegg Stain Remover.

Ecoegg Laundry Egg (RRP £19.99) is a revolutionary new way to wash clothes as it completely replaces washing powder and it is just as effective.

I must confess that I was slight dubious that our clothes would come out of the washing machine clean by just using the laundry egg. Before testing it, I was curious to find out how Ecoegg Laundry Egg worked. I wanted to find out how it would clean our clothes without any washing powder.

It is not magic! Ecoegg Laundry Egg contains two types of cleaning pellets: dark coloured and white pellets.

Dark coloured tourmaline ceramic pellets weaken the adhesive force between the dirt and fabric while white mineral pellets naturally ionize the oxygen molecules in the water which then penetrate deep into the fabric lifting away the dirt and grime, without fading colours or damaging the fibres.

It comes with an easy to follow instructions manual explaining how to fill up the Ecoegg Laundry Egg for the first time by adding three bags of white mineral pellets and one bag of dark coloured tourmaline pellets. White pellets should be topped up after 72 washes, however dark pellets last for the entire 720 washes and do not require refilling.

I have been using Ecoegg Laundry Egg for a couple of weeks and I am pleasantly surprised with how lovely and clean our clothes are. I just place the laundry egg on top of the laundry in the drum of the washing machine and wash our clothes as normal.

I was even more surprised to find out that the laundry egg lasts for up to 720 washes, which is the equivalent of 3 year’s worth of washing.

Ecoegg Stain Remover (RRP £3.99) is suitable for most fabrics. It removes stains like coffee, grass, ketchup and grease. It can also be used to tackle grime on collars and cuffs.

I was surprised to find out that it removes tough stains by using biodegradable ingredients without harsh chemicals. It is hypoallergenic and kinder to the environment.

Little man oftens comes home from nursery with stained clothes from all the painting and playing, so I have been using ecoegg stain remover to keep his outfits stain-free.

Overall, Ecoegg Laundry Egg and Stain Remover are highly recommended as great laundry products that are kind to the skin and also kind to the environment.

I have been using a fragrance free Ecoegg Laundry Egg, however it is also available in soft cotton and spring blossom fragrances.
