What is the Magic of Christmas?

I find Christmas truly special, it’s the time of the year when everyone is happy and merry!

I have always found Christmas special, however the birth of our son brought another meaning to it. It brought us closer to our own family, it helped us appreciate even more our loved ones.

Since our little was born a few Christmas ago, Christmas became even more special and magical. It’s so wonderful taking part in a child’s dream and countdown to Christmas. Even more now that little man is aware of Christmas and wakes up really early every morning to open his advent calendar.

If you asked little man what the Magic of Christmas was, he would probably tell you it’s all about Santa giving him presents.

However for me, the Magic of Christmas is all about quality time with family. We do try and spend time together every weekend, as we both work full-time during the week, however it is not the same. Luckily we are usually off between Christmas and New Year and we have the chance to spend it with our families.

We enjoy baking Christmas cupcakes and this year little man took part in his first nativity play. On Sunday afternoon, little man was dressed up as a star and sang in Greek in front of everyone yesterday. We are so proud of him!

Christmas is a beautiful time when everyone gets together to enjoy nice food and drinks, it is all about sharing time together and being happy!
