I wrote a few lines for Matalan blog, please see below:

“We asked Lilinha to answer a few questions for us, so that we could get to know a little more about the busy mummy blogger.

1.  Why did you choose these items?

As Christmas is a special occasion and only comes once a year, I wanted to dress up little man so he would look a bit smarter than usual. On a daily basis, he wears comfortable clothes for nursery and they end up getting full of paint. I chose a smart casual outfit that would look nice in the pictures and would make Christmas an occasion to be remembered!

2.  What do you look for in children’s clothing? Is it comfort or style?

I look for a mixture of comfort and style when looking for children’s clothing. However, I opt for comfort over style for my little boy’s clothes (it might be a bit different for myself and my killer heels!). In my opinion, there is no point looking nice if you can’t enjoy the outfit, run around and be a child. Value is definitely important as well, together with durability and comfort.

3.  Which piece of the outfit is your favourite?

I love the waistcoat and shirt combination. It’s such a versatile item – you can dress it up or down. For the Christmas outfit, I’ve chosen denim jeans to create a smart-casual look, however you can also wear the waistcoat and shirt with trousers for a formal occasion. Great item to have in the wardrobe!

4.  How long have you been blogging and what first inspired you to start a blog?

I have been blogging for just over 9 months and I am loving it! I was inspired to start my own blog by reading other mummy blogs. I enjoy reading reviews and checking other mum’s opinions before making a purchase, that’s when I thought I could do the same.

5.  What do you love about the blogger community?

I love how united the blogger community is. If you have any questions or need any support, you just need to write a blog post or contact other bloggers. It’s powerful and overwhelming!

6.  Do you have any top tips for juggling blogging and being a mum?

My top tip is to be organized and do what you enjoy. My family comes first, then my full-time job, then blogging in the evening. Little man and I really like baking, so we are often baking together and sharing it on my blog. My main tip would be to have fun and take each day as it comes!
