Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney Recipe Ideas
To celebrate Geeta’s twentieth anniversary I was invited to join the Chutney Challenge.
Geeta’s, the iconic Indian brand, is best known for their first ever product – the Premium Mango Chutney.
Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney is such a versatile ingredient and bloggers were challenged to share our most inventive and original recipe using the chutney, be that sweet, savoury, mild or spicy.
I was sent a jar of the chutney and invited to upload up to three recipes using the chutney. I have already posted two recipes using Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney:
Pancake with Peach and Mango Compote: sweet pancakes with a fruity filling and a spicy twist. It was really easy to make and very tasty!
I just added a spoon of Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney to sliced peaches and raisins with a touch of cinnamon.

Spiced Rice Pudding: Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney was added to the rice pudding together with other spices.
The mango chutney went really well with cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon and cloves, giving the rice pudding a lovely deep flavour! You can click on the picture for the full recipe and instructions.
As I loved the Peach and Mango Compote so much, I also had it on the side with my Spiced Rice Pudding.
Even though I used Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney in the Rice Pudding and in the Peach Compote, the dish worked really well and it was not overpowering.
I have noticed that Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney can be used on sweet recipes to give it a little twist and extra flavour.
I can be used to replace sugar and make the recipe healthier. I didn’t use any sugar in the Spiced Rice Pudding or Peach and Mango Compote.
Chicken and Mango Chutney Wrap Recipe:
Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney can also be used to jazz up a quick yet tasty lunch. I used it to add extra flavour to my chicken wrap and it was lovely.
Ingredients:
- 1 Tortilla Wrap
- ½ Chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon of Geeta’s Premium Mango Chutney
- 1 tablespoon of sweetcorn
- Green leaf salad
Method:
Simply add sliced chicken breast and mango chutney to a tortilla wrap.
Serve it with a side of green leaf salad and enjoy!
Basically you can use any fillings for your wrap and add the mango chutney for extra flavour.
