Goodfella’s Superiore Pizza Range
A few months ago, we reviewed Goodfella’s Delizia Pizza Range and they were very tasty.
Goodfella’s launched a new look premium range called “Superiore”.
It says: “Just because you’re staying in doesn’t mean you can’t bring a little restaurant magic to your pizza dinner.
Goodfella’s Superiore is providing the perfect solution to those who want the best of both worlds with its new look premium pizza: bringing authentic pizzeria taste to the comfort of your own home”.
With a delightfully thin, light and crispy 11inch base, Goodfella’s Superiore is perfect whether you’re planning a romantic meal for two or a relaxed night in with friends.
Superiore range has a selection of stone-baked light and crispy pizzas.
They are ultra thin flatbread pizzas with a combination of classic toppings.
The range comes in three delicious varieties, each carefully balanced with a grown-up twist to recall the authentic flavours of Italy.
Goodfella’s Superiore is available in Margherita with Pesto, Chicken Arrabiata and Pepperoni Speciale.
We tried two flavours:
Margherita with Pesto Pizza:
Creamy mozzarella cheese and mature cheddar cheese combined with diced Italian tomatoes topped off with a drizzle of pesto.
Margherita with Pesto was very tasty and full of flavour.
Usually margherita pizzas can be quite blunt but the drizzle of pesto gives it a lovely taste!
It was my favourite pizza, simple yet delicious!
Pepperoni Speciale Pizza:
Creamy mozzarella cheese, generous slices of seasoned pepperoni, mature cheddar cheese, Italian-style ham and green peppers.
Pepperoni Speciale is a nice crusty pizza with a good amount of pepperoni and reformed rostello style ham.
It was hubby’s favourite pizza, he loves a good old meaty pizza.
Overall, we really enjoyed trying Goodfella’s Superiore Pizzas, they have generous filling and crispy base.
They are high quality frozen pizzas, perfect to have in the freezer when you don’t have much time to prepare a quick and tasty meal.
It only takes 15 minutes to cook Goodfella’s Superiore Pizzas.
For best results, they should be cooked from frozen at 180C in fan assisted ovens and 190C (gas mark 5) in standard ovens.
Goodfella’s Superiore is available at all major supermarkets and in convenience stores with an RRP of £2.99.
