Spring Clean with Buster Drain Unblocker Range
Challs has recently launched a new look Buster plughole care range.
Buster has developed a range of products to tackle specific plughole problems.
Kitchen plugholes have fat and food debris where as bathroom blockages have hair and soap.
I was sent a selection of the new Buster range to test and I’m impressed with the results.
It’s the number 1 for bathroom plughole blockages, it dissolves hair and soap, stops slow draining water and regular use stops build up.
Buster Bathroom Plughole Unblocker has been specifically developed to deep clean this part of your home and keep it free flowing.
I used it to stop build up. I poured a third of the bottle (100ml) down the plughole, left to work overnight before flushing through with hot water. It can be used weekly.
Plughole Sanitiser Eucalyptus Foaming Granules
It stops smelly sinks, washing machine, dishwashers and waste disposals. It kills germs and prevents bad smells.
The eucalyptus foaming granules activate inside the pipes and machines, removing stains and grime and killing plughole germs, leaving your plugholes and overflows smelling hygienically clean and fresh.
I used it to freshen up our washing machine by pouring two capfuls into the soap dispenser of an empty washing machine.
The instructions say to run the machine on a short cycle, clean any filter and repeat.
Plughole Sanitiser Eucalyptus Foaming Granules can be used monthly for clean and inner freshness.
I must say the granules smell lovely and the washing machine was left with a fresh smell after using the plughole sanitiser.
Plughole Sanitiser Citrus Active Gel
It stops smelly sinks by killing germs and bad smells.
Stains and grime build up in and around the plughole, particularly just below the surface and become a breeding ground for germs and nasty smells.
Buster Plughole Sanitisers have been specially developed to deep clean this part of your home.
The Citrus Active Gel coats the pipe and sink surfaces, removing stains and grime and killing plughole germs, leaving your plugholes and overflows smelling hygienically clean and citrus fresh.
I used it to clean the bathroom sink, it had a yellow build up around the plughole.
I simply squirted the gel in and around the plughole and overflow. I left it to work for 30 minutes (but it can be left for longer), then flushed with hot water.
Plughole Sanitiser Citrus Active Gel can be used weekly for clean, deep-down freshness. You can see in the picture how lovely the sink is after using the gel and it smells clean and fresh too.
Max Strength Appliance Descaler
Max cleaners are stronger than standard cleaners. It is a super strong appliance descaler that can be used on kettles, irons and shower heads.
Although our kettle is only a few months old, there is already a build-up of limescale. I was keen on trying the appliance descaler that removes limescale fast in only 5 minutes.
I followed the single instructions to descale our kettle: half fill kettle with water and bring to the boil, unplug the kettle and stand in sink or plastic bowl.
The next step was to add 1/5 of the bottle (100ml) and leave it for 5 minutes. Then rinse the kettle with plenty of water, refill and boil. Once I rinsed again, I was delighted with the results, the limescale was completely gone and the kettle looked like new.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed using Buster to spring clean our house. It definitely made it easier and more enjoyable. How doesn’t like a fresh and clean home?
The Buster Drain Unblocker Range is available from leading supermarkets with an RRP of £3.49 for a 300ml/g bottle.
