Dr. Oetker Panebello Pizza Range

A few months ago, we tried Dr. Oetker Ristorante frozen pizzas, thin and crispy base pizzas, they were delicious.

Dr. Oetker has launched a new frozen pizza range: Dr. Oetker Panebello, which is the first bakery crust deep pizza to arrive in the UK freezer aisles.

It is crispy on the outside, light and soft on the inside, which is something different for deep pizzas. With a completely new approach to deep pizzas, it’s inspired by fresh baker’s bread and prepared with delicious, carefully selected Italian-style toppings.

Panebello comes from Dr. Oetker, the market leaders in frozen pizza and the makers of Ristorante. It’s Dr. Oetker’s most innovative deep pizza launch, which brings together two great passions – fresh bakery style bread and Italian toppings.

Panebello is available in two delicious varieties: Carne Speciale, and Pomodoro Mozzarella.

The Carne Speciale blends delicious slices of pepperoni and mozzarella, topped with yellow & red peppers and red onions on a spicy tomato sauce. It ways hubby’s favourite flavour, as he loves meaty pizzas.

Mozzarella cheese is perfectly combined with tomatoes and basil on the Pomodoro Mozzarella to create a pizza that is simply mouth-watering. It was my favourite flavour and little man loved it too.

I must confess I usually prefer thin base pizzas since the base of deep pan pizzas could get soggy, however Panebello’s base has a unique texture with the bakery style base, although it is soft on the inside, it is nice and crispy on the outside. Like the other Dr. Oetker pizzas that we have tried, Panebello is very tasty and delicious.

Dr. Oetker Panebello is available in the freezer aisles of selected supermarkets at RRP £2.99. I would suggest going to a larger branch, since I had troubles finding it in smaller supermarkets.
