Happy 2nd Birthday Zalando! #zalandoturns2

It’s been a busy few days with lots of birthday, first it was little man’s 4^th birthday and now Zalando 2^nd birthday. We are not complaining as we love cakes!

To celebrate Zalando’s birthday in style, we made a layered cake which spells Zalando.

The Z was made with 3 layers of cake: purple, white and orange, with chocolate frosting between each layer. The Z was covered with chocolate frosting and strawberry flavoured white chocolate.

The other letters were made with heart-shaped vanilla cake, topped with chocolate frosting and strawberry flavoured white chocolate.

It’s not a birthday without a drink, and chocolate and strawberry are perfect match in this lovely sunshine. So the birthday cake can be enjoyed with a special strawberry punch, which is fruity and refreshing!

Birthdays also need candles, so little man sang a special Happy Birthday song to Zalando.
