McCain Caribbean Wedges

A few weeks ago, we reviewed McCain Chips 5% Fat, low in fat but full on flavour.

McCain has launched a new limited edition variety of their wedges: McCain Caribbean Wedges are made from specially selected potatoes and seasoned with Caribbean spicies.

They are a perfect sharing treat for when the weather warms up and it’s time to break out the barbeque.

Potatoes are made into wedges by washing, cutting and seasoning, prepared with sunflower oil.

It says in the pack: “At McCain we take real, simple ingredients and prepare them with care. No artificial colours or flavours, no hydrogenated fats, just real and convenient food that you can trust and enjoy”.

We like Caribbean spices, so we enjoyed McCain Caribbean wedges, little man found them a bit spicy, I think it’s because of the red chilli pepper in the seasoning, but hubby and I were happy to share them between ourselves.

We will get some more McCain Caribbean wedges for our next BBQ, I’m sure they will be popular!
