In a Hurry? New VO5 Dry Shampoo Refresh Me Quick #shop #cbias

Our mornings are extremely busy, I usually have shower the night before, so I can just wake up and get dressed in the morning. My alarm goes off at 7am, little man and I quickly get changed, brush our teeth, wash our face and we are ready to leave by 7.45am. In less than an hour, we need to leave home, so it leaves little time to put some make-up on and do my hair, let alone washing it.

I am a fan of dry shampoo as it delays washing my hair by a day or two. I enjoy going to zumba classes, so I would use dry shampoo in the morning before going to work, and wash it in the evening after the class.

Over the weekend, I went to Sainsbury’s to purchase the new VO5 Dry Shampoo. Since I am always busy, working full-time and running around with our daily activities, I don’t always have enough time to wash my hair and style it, so dry shampoos are a must.

While I was shopping, I spotted two different VO5 dry shampoo variant: refresh me quick and plump me up.

 “Refresh me quick” variant is designed to “get a fresh look and feel between washes” and it is suitable for normal to oily hair. While “plump me up” variant is designed to “boost body & grip whilst refreshing your style” and it is suitable for fine, flat or oily hair.

Although my hair is fine, it is naturally curly and it has a lot of volume already, so I opted for the refresh me quick variant. When I got home, I was looking forward to trying it. Although I have used dry shampoo before, I’m convinced it is the best thing since slice bread, it was my first time trying VO5 dry shampoo.

I must confess before this post, I wasn’t even aware of their new product. My first impression was good, I liked the bright colour of the pink can, it looks stylish and funky. It smells really good and it does exactly what it says on the time “refresh me quick”.

This is my photo before I used VO5 dry shampoo, my hair was lifeless and my roots were oily. I felt a bit conscious while out shopping as I thought my hair really needed a good wash.

However after using the dry shampoo, my hair smelt nice and fresh, the roots were not as greasy and it gave my hair more volume, as it would if I had just washed it.

I was very impressed with how quickly my look changed, I even made a video showing how my hair had more body and was bouncier after using VO5 dry shampoo. I had fresh hair in only a couple of minutes, it was easy to use and the results were great.
