Snack Happy Challenge Update

For the past few weeks, I have been taking part in the Snack Happy Challenge with California Almonds. I was sent 21 snack packs of almonds to replace my usual snacks with almonds for the duration of the challenge.

So how did I get on? I must say it was very enjoyable, it didn’t feel like a challenge at all as I enjoy almonds and nuts in general. Since I spend most of the day at work, I kept the majority of the snack packs at my desk and the remaining at home so I could have on weekends.

As I’ve got a routine at work, it was easy to have California Almonds with a cup of tea in the afternoon during the week, it became part of my day. However I’ve noticed that I skipped a day or two on weekends, as we are usually out and about spending some family time together. As a result, it took me slightly longer than 3 weeks to complete the Snack Happy Challenge.

I must say I really liked taking part in the challenge, and even though it has ended, I am still having almonds in a daily basis. I have also been adding almonds to my breakfast cereal for an extra crunch and I might have a handful of almonds in the evening with a cup of tea after dinner.

California Almonds has asked me to take part in the Snack Happy Challenge. They have provided me with all I need to complete the challenge, however the opinions expressed are honest and my own. For more information about healthy snacking please visit www.AlmondBoard.co.uk
