Diono Monterey 2 Expandable Booster: Long Journeys
As you are aware, we are currently testing Diono Monterey 2 Expandable Booster. A few weeks ago, I shared some Top Travel Safety Tips from Diono during Child Safety Week. We were sent the black version of Diono Monterey 2 Expandable Booster which has a black ultra-suede and mesh with black velour trim.
The Monterey 2 Expandable Booster from Diono (RRP £100) is a high-backed booster seat which offers children the safest protection when in the car. The deep, metal reinforced sides are lined with energy-absorbing EPS foam for side-impact protection and reduce the risk of injury when in a side on collision.
A couple of weeks ago, I shared our experiences using Diono Monterey 2 Expandable Booster in Short Journeys. Little man really likes his car seat, he prefers having a booster with a high back, than the one he had before.
We also tried the booster in long journeys and it was just as good and comfortable when little man was in the car for a long time. We went to Milton Keynes for a family day out, which took over an hour each way, and little man was so relaxed that he slept most of the way there.
On the way back, little man was very excited about his day out, sledging in the snow while it was baking hot outside, he spent the journey back reading his leaflet and chatting about what he did during the day.
In the past few weeks while we have been trying our new booster, he has never complained about it, instead he mentioned several times that he really likes his new car seat.
