Laughing Cow Light with Emmental Pizza

The nation’s most popular cheese triangle has added a new flavour to its light range, with the launch of The Laughing Cow Light with Emmental. Made with real Emmental cheese and Laughing Cow Light, this tasty triangular bite provides that delicious and distinctive creamy Emmental taste, without the calorie guilt.

The new Light with Emmental flavour arrives just in time for summer – so as you and the rest of the nation contemplates stripping off the layers for the (hopefully) warmer months ahead, you can now give your balanced diet an exciting twist with this scrumptious portioned controlled treat.

With 25 calories per triangle, you can truly savour the lighter side of lunch – why not spread over crackers, warm crumpets, or use as a smooth and creamy sandwich filling? Or, of course, simply tuck straight into a triangle and enjoy it as a tasty snack.

Little man loves The Laughing Cow Light with Emmental, if I let him, he can have all the 8 triangles all on his own. Before he finished the whole box, we made some pizza with it.

To make Chicken and Laughing Cow with Emmental pizza, you will need a pizza base, tomato sauce, chicken chunks and Laughing Cow triangles. We puree whichever vegetables we have in the fridge to make our tomato sauce, so our pizza is full of veg. The chicken sauce is also made with lots of veg, so it is a healthy pizza.

Instead of adding grated cheese, we spread out pieces of Laughing Cow on top of the pizza and put it a pre-heated oven for 10 minutes. Our Chicken and Laughing Cow pizza was yummy!

The Laughing Cow Light with Emmental is the latest addition to the Light family, including Light with Blue Cheese and the classic Light cheese. It is available in Tesco and Asda, RRP £1.25 for 128g round boxes of eight triangles on shelf with the cheese spreads.
