Losing Weight with Alli Diet Pills

A couple of months ago, hubby realised that he needed to lose weight and he decided that he didn’t want be big and unhealthy anymore. His body mass index (BMI) was nearly 35 at the time, which is considered obese, which increases the risk of becoming ill with problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer.

Hubby then started a diet and lost 4.5kgs, which lowered his BMI to 33. We were then offered the opportunity to try Alli Diet Pills, which should be taken daily with every meal, together with healthy eating and exercise.

Alli diet pills are not magic pills, by taking them it doesn’t mean that you will suddenly lose a lot of weight without any effort. It is a medicine available without prescription used for weight loss in adults aged 18 or over who are overweight, and have a BMI of 28 or above.

Alli should be used along with a reduced calorie, lower-fat diet. The action of the capsules assists your efforts by helping you to lose more weight compared to dieting alone. For every 2kg (4lb) you lose from dieting alone, alli can help you lose 1kg (2lb) more.

It is quite clever how Alli diet pills work: the active ingredient (orlistat) in Alli is designed to target fat in the digestive system. It stops about a quarter of the fat in your meals from being absorbed, this fat will pass out of the body in your stools, so you could experience diet-related treatment effects if you don’t commit to a low-fat diet.

There are 84 hard capsules on each box, each capsule should be taken three times a day with each main meal containing fat. You should not take more than three capsules a day and you should take a multivitamin containing vitamins A, D, E and K once a day at bedtime. The box comes with instructions and also a carry case to store your daily pills.
