New York Bakery Co Bagel Recipe Book
I love bagels, they are versatile and great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have previously tried New York Bakery Co bagels and made a lovely bagel pizza with sweetcorn, peppers and cheese, it was yummy!
In February, we celebrated National Bagels Day with NY bagels, Fruit & Oat bagels with jam for breakfast and Open Sandwich with Red Onion & Chive Bagels for lunch. Little man also made pizza bagels and they were delicious!
The first fan sourced recipe collection has been released today by New York Bakery Co. The bagel experts invited bagel fans across the UK to submit their favourite recipes for the chance to inspire the nation and be published in a recipe book.
The free book features recipe suggestions from Britain’s biggest bagel advocates who will receive a financial reward every time the book is downloaded. The recipe writers have been encouraged to ‘start spreading’ the recipe collection online to secure the maximum possible reward and showcase the versatility of New York Bakery Co bagels.
The recipe book features 20 of Britain’s best bagel recipes developed and voted for by New York Bakery Co fans as part of their Start Spreading Facebook campaign. The tasty bagel creations range from traditional family favourites to New York inspired culinary creations and include the Manhattan Start-Up, 5th Avenue Fill-Up and Holey Guacamole.
The recipes offer gastronomic inspiration for every eating occasion, from a satisfying breakfast or nutritious lunch to a delicious dinner. The recipe book also features inventive topping suggestions for New York Bakery Co’s diverse range of bagels including Plain, Cinnamon & Raisin and Red Onion & Chive.
We have been trying a few recipes from the recipe book and we loved them all:
Fruity Breakfast with cream cheese and raspberry jam. It was one of little man’s favourite!
The Terminator with egg, bacon, cheese and lettuce. It was definitely hubby’s favourite! I must say I loved having the Terminator for breakfast too, so it was one of my favourites!
Choco Banana with chocolate spread and banana. Choco Banana was also little man’s favourite! Yummy!
Beanut Panana with crunchy peanut butter and banana. Crunchy and fruity, delicious!
The New York Bakery Co Start Spreading recipe book is now available to download absolutely free from the New York Bakery Co Facebook page at www.facebook.com/newyorkbakery. The recipes are easy to follow and very tasty!
