Big Family Offers: Smurfs 2 at Cineworld

Last weekend, we went to our local Cineworld to watch Smurfs 2. Little man loves going to the cinema, but we haven’t been for a while. As he’s already 4, I thought it would be a great opportunity for him to watch his first 3D movie – and he loved it!

This summer boasts a great line up of films the whole family can enjoy, whether it’s the return of the little blue characters in Smurfs 2 or an introduction to Disney’s new animated vehicle Dusty Crophopper.

To celebrate all the great films out this summer, Cineworld is introducing a whole host of Big Family Offers to make the cinema experience even more exciting, from 20% off family tickets booked through mycineworld to prize draws and lots of other giveaways. They will also be continuing to run Movies for Juniors £1 screening offers enabling affordable cinema trips for all the family.

Before the movie, we picked up a Family Special snack deal from the Popcorn counter, which comes with 2 large soft drinks, 2 munchboxes and a large popcorn for £9.95, saving 40%. Little man loved his munchbox, it contained a popcorn, juice and Milky Way Magic Stars. You can also purchase munchboxes separately for £3.25.

Once we were ready, we made our way to screen 7 to watch Smurfs 2. The popular little blue funsters take on the nasty Naughties in this fabulous new adventure. It has been released on 31st July and it should be on for the next few weeks.

Little man was really excited waiting for the movie to start, enjoying his munchbox. We loved the movie, the whole family had a great time at Cineworld, the popcorn was nice and crunchy, the seats were comfortable and we had a lovely family day out!
