Collective Dairy Gourmet Yogurt
The Collective Dairy Gourmet Yogurt is a thick and creamy handcrafted yogurt, produced in Somerset using the finest West Country Milk, based on the original New Zealand recipe. The yogurt base is slightly sweetened with honey and the yogurt contains a unique double layer of compote to ensure a mouth-watering balance of sweet and tart flavours.
We have tried a selection of flavours of Collective Dairy Gourmet yogurts and they are very tasty and full of flavour with a silky smooth texture. They are live yogurts with probiotics, no artificial preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavourings and only 5% fat. They are available in two sizes, 160g individual pots and 500g pots.
The 500g gourmet yogurts are available in the following flavours: passion fruit, Russian fudge, cherry and pomegranate, luscious lemon, sweet Jane and mighty mango. Since I love fudge, my favourite flavour from the big pot range is Russian fudge, which is also available in individual pots. You can see in the clear bowl the delicious fudge sauce in the yogurt.
The 160g gourmet yogurts are available in the following flavours: passion fruit, Russian fudge, apple and spice, white peach and raspberry and banoffi. My favourite has to be passion fruit yogurt, it is very tasty and it has a generous helping of passion fruit compote.
Overall, we all enjoyed Collective Dairy Gourmet Yogurt, they are creamy and full of flavour, tasting more like desserts than yogurt. My only complaint would be with the availability of the yogurts, it says on the website that they are available at Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys, however I went to several branches, express and large stores, but I couldn’t find the yogurt. I eventually gave up looking at my local supermarkets and went to Waitrose, where I was pleased to find a nice selection of flavours on offer.
