Liven Up Lunch Time with Warburtons Krazy Kitchen
We are already a fan of Warburtons, we have tried their Breakfast Range and also their tasty snacks Warburtons Escape. We have thoroughly enjoyed the products we tried so far!
Warburtons has created the entertaining Krazy Kitchen gameshow to liven up your lunchtime. The funny videos puts two families against each other to create a delicious and inspiring lunch in the Warburtons Krazy Kitchen. Then the two families, the McDermotts and the Griffiths, battle it out, mum versus mum, dad versus dad, and child versus child, in three hilarious videos to make the best sandwich whilst being distracted by unexpected ‘kraziness’.
We were sent the ingredients to recreate two recipes shown in the videos and some ‘krazy’ pops to liven up our lunch: Tex-Mex Mayhem, a spicy Mexican wrap using Warburtons Square Wraps, and Chicken Supreme using Warburtons Sandwich Thins.
The first three videos of Krazy Kitchen can be found at Warburtons Facebook page and my favourite is Episode 3 ‘Kid vs Kid’ in which they create a delicious ‘Chicken Supreme’ sandwich using Warburtons Sandwich Thins. The recipe is straightforward, but a series of events happens while the kids are trying to prepare the sandwich, such as rumble in the kitchen, hen pecking and even a feather storm.
Chicken Supreme Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 Warburtons Sandwich Thins
- 1 tsp low-fat mayonnaise
- 10 slices of cucumber
- 10 slices of red onion
- 1 cooked skinless chicken breast
- Handful of rocket lettuce, washed
Method:
Spread the bottom halves of the Warburtons Sandwich Thins with the mayonnaise, then arrange 5 slices of cucumber and red onion on top of the sandwich. Slice the chicken breast and place half of it on each sandwich. Place the rocket leaves on top, then finish with the other halves of sandwich thins.
