Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Flair
A few weeks ago, I was part of the panel of the Mum’s Choice Awards at Christmas in July showcasing the hottest toys for Christmas, and I was pleased to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Flair as one of the winners in the boys category.
As soon as I saw it at the event, I knew straight away it would be a hit with little man and his friends. We were sent two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Flair: Donatello Action Figure and Turtle Flingers Raphael.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello Action Figure is an uniquely sculpted action figure, which comes with more than 12 points of articulation, signature purple bandana and bo staff weapon. It is about 11cm high, the tallest of the Turtles, and it is suitable for children aged 4 and above.
Little man loved playing with his Donatello Action figure, not only it is very detailed, it is also complete with signature weapons. It can hold a weapon on each hand and another one at the back. It is well made and a perfect replicate the characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Flinger Raphael features a unique and innovative way to launch weapon projectiles. It comes with a backpack and weapons, the backpack should be snapped onto Raphael’s back and secured in place, load his weapons into the backpack, and Raphael is ready.
Raph throws sais over his shoulders by rolling the figure sideways on a hard flat surface and the right arm reaches back, grabs the sai and flings it forward. Each figure includes 3 sais and it is suitable for children aged 5 and above.
Little man really enjoyed rolling Raphael to the side to fire sais and playing with the multi-missile flinging action. It took him a few tries to get it right, but he soon got the hang of it and he was able to throw the weapon projectiles a few inches away.
Little man had a lot of fun playing with both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters, Donatello and Raphael., they even had a friendly fight to test their weapons. Since there are 4 turtles to collect, he has now asked for the whole collection – I know already what he will be putting down in his Christmas wish list.
