Children’s OmegaBerry by Biocare
Although we have a healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegetables, somehow we don’t have much fish in our diet. I make a fish pie every so often, but we don’t have enough Omega 3 fatty acids, which are essential for brain function, concentration and mood.
Children’s OmegaBerry by Biocare (RRP £11.95 for 150ml) is an emulsified fish oil with tropical fruit and berry concentrates, making it an optimally absorbed and great tasting source of omega-3 fatty acids for children and for the whole family too.

Little man started going to school last week, so I need to make sure he has all the nutrients and vitamins required to learn and do well at school. Children’s OmegaBerry provides fish oils from anchovies and sardines and it is a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), essential components of the diet to help support the development of the brain, nervous system and the maintenance of healthy eyesight.
Biocare OmegaBerry contains high potency fish oils in a fruity base with berry concentrates, it contains blackcurrants, blueberries and elderberries which are a good source of proanthocyanidins. As well as providing omega 3 fatty acids, it also provides the equivalent to a quarter of a cup of berries per 10ml to help support the intake of antioxidants from fruit and vegetables.

OmegaBerry is water soluble so it is more easily absorbed, and it is free from artificial colours and flavours. You only need a small amount daily, half a teaspoon (2.5ml) for children aged 1 to 5 years old, and one teaspoon (5ml) for children over 5 years old.
OmegaBerry is a food supplement especially designed for children, as it is quite hard for them to swallow capsules. Children’s OmegaBerry is a great alternative to Omega 3 capsules, little man likes OmegaBerry, I have tried it myself and it tastes quite nice with a fishy smell.
