It’s Official!

Little man is finally at school, seems like we’ve been waiting for ages for his first day at school to arrive. The day before he was due to start, I shared Little Man’s New Look for his Big Day, he had a haircut and chopped off his curls.

This week is a settling in week, he’s only at school for a couple of hours, but he is enjoying it already and he looks forward to it each morning. On his first day, we ended up waiting at the wrong playground when we arrived at school, but luckily we soon realised that reception kids had to line up somewhere else. I couldn’t wait to pick him up and ask how his day was, whether he made any friends, what he did at school, etc.

He has only been at school for a couple of days, I am still not used to the idea of having a school-aged child, but it is quite nice seeing him wearing uniform, I think he looks very smart! I’m so proud of little man, he’s growing into a lovely boy. It is still early days, but I believe he will do well at school. In the meanwhile, I will make sure I keep interested in learning!
