Nanobytes Space-themed Sweets
Nanobytes, is a new sweet sensation set to hit the UK this September. Space-themed Nanobytes are small, round sweets that have a crunchy shell and are chewy on the inside and come in three earth-shattering flavours – Strawberry, BubbleGum and Cola.
We were sent a selection of flavours to try, my favourite flavour is Strawberry, while little man’s favourite flavour is BubbleGum and hubby is Cola. The whole family enjoyed Nanobytes! All flavours are available in a small “treat-sized” pack (25g), as well as a larger, re-sealable, metallic “space pack” (65g) from a range of stockists, including Amazon, Savers, The Factory Shop and The Works.
Nanobytes are all gluten-free, suitable for vegetarians and GMO free, with recommended retail prices starting from 25p for the treat-size pack and 69p for the larger ‘space pack’.
The story behind the brand explains that some time ago, far far away in space, the sky was filled with edible planets drifting dangerously close to the stars. ‘Planet Nano’ collided with a star and exploded, filling space with lots and lots of little sweets, until Project-Nano astronauts (Nanonauts) were sent out to collect these rare, delicious sweets and bring them back to Earth for our enjoyment.
Not only will we be able to get our hands on Nanobytes come September, but a new website www.lotsoflittlesweets.com will allow Nanobytes fans to celebrate the arrival of the new sweets as Project-Nano astronauts in special online games. The site also features downloads, competitions, videos and a host of other fun and educational content. A Nanobytes App will also be available for smart-phones on Apple and Android.
Fans will be able to keep up-to-date with the latest news and win prizes by engaging with the Nano-nauts social media channels; liking the Nanobytes’ Facebook page www.facebook.com/NanobytesSweets and following the dedicated Twitter feed @NanobytesSweets.
Nanobytes are small in size but big in flavour, they have been tried, tested and loved by us. We will be looking out for them in the shelves now in September.
