Perfect Party Piece with Lily Vanilli and Cadbury Crispello
A couple of days ago, I had the opportunity to attend a lovely Cadbury event at Lily Vanilli bakery. I am pretty sure I’ve said it before, but here it is again – we love Cadbury chocolates! We have tried Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations, Cadbury Crunchums and Cadbury Dairy Milk Pebbles. We have even baked a Healthy Sweet Potato Chocolate Cake using Cadbury Dairy Milk Whole Nut.
Lily Vanilli teamed up with Cadbury Crispello to create a deliciously cheeky dessert. We have tried Cadbury Crispello before and loved it, so it was lovely to learn how to create a centrepiece using Cadbury Crispello. Known for her exciting and adventurous creations, Lily has embarked on a new chocolaty mission to create the perfect dessert; The Cadbury Crispello Tower.
Made up of individual Crispello pieces filled with creamy mousse, drizzled with Cadbury Milk Chocolate and dressed with crisp wafer, the Crispello Tower is the perfect party piece to make any dinner party that little bit tastier. So step away from the profiteroles and bring something new to the table with this delicious dessert that is sure to wow your guests.
Lily Vanilli said “It was so exciting to be asked by Cadbury Crispello to come up with some hassle-free desserts. A whole tower of chocolate is surely everyone’s dream! Simply assemble, choose your topping (dark, milk or white chocolate) and watch your friends look on in awe.”
I had a lot of fun creating my very own Crispello Tower, so I thought I would share how I made it, so you can try and make your own.
You will need approximately 60 Cadbury Crispello pieces, the equivalent of 6 sharing bags, 150g of milk or dark chocolate, and any decorations you wish, such as edible flowers, fruits, cones, anything! I would highly recommend glitter cherries, you simply need to dip the cherries in egg whites, then cover them in glitter – they look great!
How to Make a Cadbury Crispello Tower:
You should start by dipping the base of a Cadbury Crispello in melted chocolate and start to stick the pieces in place in a pyramid shape. The next step is to drizzle your Cadbury Crispello pieces in melted chocolate or white chocolate, then add the finishing touches with some wafer pieces, edible flowers and crushed Cadbury pieces.
This is my very own Crispello Tower that I made at the event, it was easy to make (once Lily showed us the steps and shared her tips) and I had lots of fun. I will be making another one at home soon, I’m sure little man will love helping and we are planning on making a Christmas Crispello Tower in December to get us in the festive season.
Look out for other delicious Cadbury Crispello recipes such as Lily’s one-of-a-kind Crispello Mille Feuille and a Crispello ice cream, tasty enough to rival the recipes of the Great British Bake Off!
Thank you very much for Cadbury and Lily for a lovely event, very tasty and enjoyable!
