Matalan Movie Club
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending Matalan Movie Club at an exclusive 5 star Hotel in London, Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, for a private screening of ‘Finding Nemo’. Somehow, little man and I haven’t watched it before, so we were really looking forward to our morning of film, fashion and food – what more could you ask for?!
While we were watching the movie, there was a selection of popcorn and cookies on offer. They were tasty and freshly made. Little man loved the movie, however he got scared half way through, he didn’t think Nemo would be reunited with his daddy again, which made him feel sad. However he had a big smile on his face once Nemo found his dad and they were happily together.
After the movie session, Matalan showed off some of their latest Autumn/ Winter collection while we were treated to a lovely selection of canapés and drinks in the stylish Ballroom Foyer. I loved checking out the new Matalan range: The Statements.
The Statements are key staples that never got out of fashion, were designed to take the stress out of dressing up by creating a capsule collection of wearable looks, with a chic timeless feel and the quality that means they will last. I tried one of the lovely coats from The Statements collection and it looked great.
Little man loved having a look at Matalan kids range, we are already fan of Matalan clothes. Last year we took part in the Matalan Style Project: Christmas Morning Outfit. Little man had a great time picking his outfit for the project and he’s been wearing it for the past 10 months, and it still looks like new, so I can’t complain about the quality of their clothes.
Even though the trousers are getting a big short as he is growing up, when I told him that we were going to Matalan Movie Club, he said that he wanted to wear his Matalan outfit.
Matalan Kids range is absolutely gorgeous, with cute outfits and stylish pieces. While we were at the event, little man really wanted to try a gorgeous jacket and shirt, but unfortunately they were not his size. Somehow my 4 year old boy still managed to fit into a 2-3 year old jacket – that’s what I call determination! The jacket looked so soft and cosy.
We had a great time at the event, it was lovely catching up with other bloggers and finding out more about Matalan’s new range. Thank you very much for inviting us to such a lovely morning of film, fashion and food!
I was under no obligation to write this post, just wanted to share my experience. The opinions expressed in this post are honest and my own.
