Scooby-Doo! Adventures the Mystery Map DVD

I grew up watching Scooby-Doo and the crew and following their adventures.  My brother and I would watch it together and always enjoyed Scooby-Doo cartoons. This week, all-new Scooby-Doo! puppet movie launched just in time for Halloween.

This spooky season, get ready to experience the world famous Scooby-Doo! and the crew like never before, in an original movie with a brand new puppet format. Zoinks!  Scooby-Doo! Adventures The Mystery Map DVD sees new-look Scooby and the gang embark on a mad, pizza-fuelled dash to find pirate Gnarlybeard’s hidden treasure.

Confronting more than a few chilling obstacles along the way, watch as the slobbering-sleuth and his band of crime-busting puppet pals sniff out the clues, only to have the map stolen by the frightening Phantom Parrot. Ruh-roh! The gang must track down the mysterious bird to recover the map if they ever want to reach the spooky ship. But, once on-board, what will Gnarlybeard be willing to do to protect his booty?

As I am used to the old Scooby-Doo format, I wasn’t sure how I would find the new version, but the new puppet format is very cute and features all the elements you would expect from a classic Scooby-Doo! storyline, but with a brand new look. It was lovely to see the old characters with the same personality so they were easily recognisable.

The latest DVD featuring Scooby and the gang was a hit with little man, he’s never watched Scooby before, but the new DVD was a lovely introduction to Scooby, he is now a Scooby-Doo fan just like his mummy!
