Weekly Meal Plan with Mission Deli Wraps

Mission Deli Wrap has asked bloggers to take part in the Lunch Less Ordinary Challenge, and one of the tasks this week is:

“Inspired by one of our Facebook fans  -take £5 for the week to buy the essentials and we’ll send the wraps and you must complete the Storecupboard challenge – using up whatever you’ve got left in the cupboards, fridge and freezer to make your meals for the week”.

There is always leftover from dinner, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to have them for lunch, in a lovely wrap.

Since we had a power surge last month and our fridge broke, among other home appliances, we don’t have a big fridge as we used to. We have recently borrowed a little fridge from a friend so we can only store a small amount of food in it. I decided to take part in the Storecupboard challenge as we need to use up the contents of our cupboards. So which wraps made into our weekly meal plan?

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Wraps
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Wraps

Monday “Chicken & Broccoli Leftover Wrap” calls for a colourful wrap with leftover broccoli and chicken, red peppers, onions and skinny chips sprinkled with cheddar cheese. It was colourful and tasty, full of different flavours and textures!

Tuesday “Beef Wrap” has leftover beef and onions from the previous’ day dinner. It was lovely!

Wednesday “Chicken Wrap” is another leftover wrap, made from chargrilled chicken we had for dinner the previous evening. The chicken was still nice and moist.

Thursday and Friday Wraps

Thursday “Chicken and Chutney Wrap” has chicken chunks, sweetcorn and mango chutney, served with green salad. It was yummy!

Friday “Chicken Salad Wrap” has chicken, ham, crunchy salad and mayonnaise, very tasty!

Saturday and Sunday Wraps
Saturday and Sunday Wraps

Saturday and Sunday were special wraps as I have more time on weekends. Saturday “Mexican Wrap” had Mexican chicken chunks, onions, tomato salsa and cheese, it was spicy and lovely!

Sunday “Broccoli Mix Wrap” had broccoli, chicken, tomatoes and cheese, it was healthy, crunchy and full of flavour.

You must have noticed I like chicken wraps, I try and have it with different combinations, but I think chicken and wraps go down nicely and make a lovely lunch!
