Cheestrings Brave Bones Club

Although little man likes running and playing like other children his age, he prefers sitting down with a book. When Cheestrings contacted us to take part in their Brave Bones Club, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get him moving and more active.

With playtime under threat from so many angles, and parents conscious of the health and safety of their children, it’s important to remember that the more fearlessly kids play, the more confident they become helping them develop stronger social and risk taking skills.

Cheestrings is encouraging children and their family to adopt a sense of adventure of play through the new Brave Bones Club. It has been set up based on the ethos that the more adventurously kids play, the stronger and more confident they grow up.

The Brave Bones Club is a club that all kids can be part of. Kids can be part of the club to different degrees; from simply buying Cheestrings and developing strong bones; to signing up online at www.bravebonesclub.com and taking part in the Brave Bones Badge challenges.

There are currently twelve badges to go for and kids can claim these by simply following the instructions and describing their brave experience once they’ve completed each challenge. A certificate of bravery can be proudly framed at home after each challenge is achieved.

Children, and the young at heart, can earn Brave Bradges by completing a series of challenges designed to prove their bravery.

How brave are you?

Do you dare to kiss a toad?

Fancy doing a press up over a pongy sock?

Are you brave enough to burst a balloon by sitting on it?

We were sent the Brave Bones Kit so we could take part in the Brave Bones Challenge, in our kit there is a lipstick so we can pucker up for the ‘Kiss the toad’ challenge, a pair of socks to prepare us for the ‘Pongy sock press up’ challenge, water bombs for the ‘Pass the water bomb’ challenge, and balloons so we can get popping in the ‘Balloon burst’ challenge.

We were also sent cupcakes as a treat once we have conquered the challenges and earned our badges. We are looking forward to taking part in the challenge. You can also join by signing up online. For more information, please check: http://bravebonesclub.com/
