Superdry AW13 Collection

A few weeks ago, I attended a blogger event at Superdry HQ in the flagship Regent Street store to try key AW13 pieces, including stylish jackets and cosy hats, and also for a preview of the SS14 collection.

Superdry SS14 collection promises the ultimate wardrobe for city chic, summery beachwear and festival fun. Women’s denim has an even larger palette of printed effects and accessories brighten up with neon and metallic satchels.

Menswear gets a refresh for SS14 emphasising tailoring, premium materials and dramatic detailing. Accessories include neoprene rucksacks and the new season classic flip-flops.

I usually prefer big coats and jackets, but I decided to try something different. Superdry Antartic Gilet is a quilted gilet in luxurious faux-fur featuring a zip front fastening, elasticated hem and collar. It has two front pockets and a drawstring collar. The quilted lining has inner seams trimmed with a contrast colour piping, making it very stylish.

Before trying this lovely jacket, I thought it wouldn’t keep me warm, but the quilted lining makes it very snug, I just need a long sleeved jumper underneath and I will be ready for the cold months ahead.
