Christmas Essentials at Poundland
Christmas can be an expensive time of the year, from buying presents to getting ready for the big day, so I try and save as much as I can without missing out on the fun. Poundland’s festive range is bursting with Christmas cheer including decorations, tableware, gifts, food and drink, all at just £1 each.
I have previously taken part in a Poundland Weekly Essentials Challenge, in which I discovered how much I could save by buying essentials at Poundland. We also went to Poundland for our Halloween decorations, costumes and sweets. This time, we were invited to take part in Poundland Christmas Challenge in which I was given £20 voucher to spend on our Christmas essentials and see how much we could really get for Christmas at Poundland.
During my visit to Poundland, I noticed that the Christmas aisle is packed full with themed-products, from wrapping paper to Christmas cards, stockings, Christmas food and chocolates, and beautiful decorations – it has everything you need to get ready for the festive season, without breaking the bank.
Christmas Decorations:
I got a cute Rudolf the Reindeer Novelty Wreath which is proudly displayed in our front door, a festive Decoration Bow with Bells for the living room door, a 20 Clear Lights in a 1.5m long cable and 16 silver bubbles for our Christmas tree. I also found a cute Cars Christmas Ball with Marshmallows for little man, he loves it!
Christmas Tableware:
We are hosting a small Christmas party this year, so I wanted to stock up on essentials for our party. I bought some gorgeous luxury napkins, Festive Table Cover with sewn-in backing and Party Crackers. I picked up a twin pack of washing liquid to clean up all the dirty plates and dishes after our Christmas party, you can also stock up on Christmas Paper Cups and Party Paper Plates from Poundland.
Christmas Food:
We have already plenty Christmas chocolates at home, but no mince pies. And Christmas is not the same without mince pies, yum! I got a few of packs of Mr Kipling Mince Pies and Mr Kipling Ice Top Mince Pies, they will go down nicely with a cup of tea while watching a Christmas movie. I also got a couple Festive Fayre Christmas puddings made with juicy sultanas and cider.
I have also noticed some lovely Christmas biscuits, sweets, chocolates and Advent calendars on offer. I couldn’t resist picking up a pack of Milk Chocolate Hollow Snowmen which I will use as edible decorations at the Christmas table, on top of the lovely napkins I bought.
Christmas Wrapping and Cards:
There is a wide range of Christmas wrapping paper, cards, gift bags, ribbons, gift tags and bows. I bought a couple of 10m wrapping paper, Christmas cards with envelopes and luxury gift tags with cord to label the presents under the Christmas tree. Little man loves stickers, so I got him a pack of Christmas stickers to decorate the cards for his school friends.
Once again, I am very impressed with the wide variety of products on offer at Poundland, I was able to buy so much for only £20. There is a large selection of Christmas-themed items on offer, so make sure you visit Poundland this Christmas for fantastic savings!
