Space Themed Party with Birds Eye Chicken Space Shapes
A couple of weeks ago, we hosted a space themed party for little man and his friends to celebrate the launch of Birds Eye new Chicken Space Shapes – tender breaded chicken pieces for little astronauts.
We were sent a lovely space themed party pack with tablecloth, plates, cups, themed decoration, invitation and menu. The kids had a lovely meal with Chicken Space Shapes, Wonderous Waffles and Planet Peas, enjoyed with orange and apple juice.
I love parties, but I usually tend to get a bit stressed out getting everything ready, however it was such a lovely and stress-free party. I simply had to place a tray in the oven with the chicken space shapes and another one with the mini potato waffles.
When they were nearly ready, I placed the peas in boiling water for a few minutes and the meal was ready to be served. In the meanwhile, the kids coloured in the planets and stars in the menus. I decided to place the food in a platter, so they could help themselves to more. t
We only had Birds Eye products in our party and the kids enjoyed a balanced meal, with protein from the chicken pieces, carbohydrate from the potato waffles and vitamins from the peas – one of your five a day!
Each bag of Birds Eye Chicken Space Shapes comes with 14 chicken space shapes, made with tender 100% chicken breast in the shape of stars, moons and rockets. They are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. The little ones really liked the space shaped chicken pieces, they mentioned they were fun and cool.
Overall, we all really enjoyed the space themed party, it was enjoyable to host it and easy to prepare. I could tell the kids loved the food as their plates were quickly emptied and they kept helping themselves to more food. I had to top up the food platter a couple of times, which is a great sign.
Thank you Birds Eyes for providing everything we needed for our Space Party.
