Giving Extra to Someone Special

Christmas is the time of giving and appreciating our loved ones. Hubby and I have been married for 9 years, we have a lovely little boy together and I am grateful for his support.

The Halifax bank invited us to join the Giving Extra to Someone Special Campaign, which aims to give people a little bit extra this Christmas by allowing us to purchase an extra special gift for someone close to us.

I decided to get a special gift for hubby to say thank you for looking after us. Hubby loves watching and playing football, he is an Arsenal fan, a season-ticket holder, he has taken little man to a few matches and they had a great time at Emirates. I have been to a few home and away Arsenal matches too, and loved the atmosphere at the stadium.

As hubby doesn’t have this season’s kit yet, I decided to get him the new Arsenal top for Christmas with the vouchers provided. The smile on his face was priceless on Christmas morning when he opened his present, he absolutely loved it. He has been wearing his new Arsenal top a lot over the past few days, I might need to put it in the washing basket when he goes to bed…
