Walkers Do Us a Flavour Competition #FlavourMillionaire
Not so long ago, I shared about Walkers Gary’s Great Ingredient Hunt, now Walkers has challenged the nation to get creative for a chance to win £1 million – you might have spotted the #FlavourMillionaire hashtag on Twitter or seen the promotional packs.
The nation’s favourite crisp company, Walkers, has launched a nationwide search for a new great-tasting flavour combination. The ‘Do Us A Flavour’ competition will crown one member of the British public as the first ever flavour millionaire. A judging panel will whittle down the entries to six finalists and the public will then decide on their favourite and the ultimate winner.
Adding a twist to the competition, which last ran back in 2008, the public will be challenged to create their own unique flavour combination by starting with one of Walkers’ home grown ingredients. They will need to pick from Somerset Cheddar, Devonshire Chicken, Norfolk Pork, Dorset Sour Cream, Vale of Evesham Tomatoes or Aberdeen Angus Beef as a base and then go wild with their imagination to truly inspire the nation!
Once six finalists have been chosen, their creative flavour suggestions will be developed by Walkers and made available for everyone to try nationwide. It’s then in the hands of the public to vote for their favourite to win the whopping £1million prize. The five runners up will each bag a tasty £10,000.
