Come Rain or Shine, Our Clothes are Dry with Zanussi Tumble Dryer
The weather in the UK is rather unpredictable, it is clear one minute, raining the next, and for this reason we usually dry our clothes indoors in a clothes airer. It is not ideal as it takes far too long to dry, around 2 to 4 days, not to mention the bulky airer blocking part of our living room.
I’ve lost count how many times we were so busy during the week, by the time we remembered to put the washing machine on, it was already the weekend. Hubby and I have been discussing about getting a tumble dryer for a few months, we have never had one before, but when our washing machine broke with a power surge and we had to take our clothes to the laundrette, we would wash and dry it there. It was so convenient taking the clothes dirty and coming back with clean and dry clothes, ready to be folded or worn.
We were over the moon when our new tumble dryer arrived a couple of weeks ago, we now have a Zanussi ZDEB47201W, it is a condenser tumble dryer, but in case you prefer a vented, there is a wide range of tumble dryers at Argos.
At first, I was a bit apprehensive, I heard too many tales of clothes shrinking in the tumble dryer, but the user manual is straight forward and easy to understand. Luckily it also comes with a special dryness sensor with 5 dryness levels, which detects when the clothes are dry and switches the dryer off automatically.
We love our tumble dryer, it is large and perfect for a family, with a maximum drying capacity of 7kgs, so you can dry the same amount of clothes you wash. Our tumble dryer is beside our washing machine, so the clothes are moved straight from the washing machine to the tumble dryer.
Zanussi ZDEB47201W has an impressive 13 heat settings, for cotton, synthetics and special clothes, such as jeans, baby clothes and mixed load. The mix setting is perfect for us, as you can dry cotton and synthetics clothes together at low temperature.
There are other handy settings too, such as up to 9 hours delayed start, fluff filter, automatic reverse tumble action for crease-free drying and filter full indicator. As it is a condenser, you need to empty the filter every time you use the tumble dryer, by simply opening the drawer and draining the water.
Overall, we love our new Zanussi tumble dryer, it is easy to use and convenient to have dry clothes whenever we want, no matter the weather. From now on, come rain or shine, our clothes will be dry!
