Clarks & Clarks Kids AW14 Collection
We love Clarks shoes, they are durable and made of great quality material. Little man’ school shoes are still going strong since September – a whole 8 months ago! He also loves his cool Wing Brite, he has been wearing for the past few weeks and they still look like new.
The new Clarks Kids AW14 collection is just as versatile and cool, with funky shoes and cosy boots for boys and girls. Influences are taken from key trends on the catwalk and, adding their own inimitable touch, the Clarks designers deliver effortless British style; the perfect complement to autumn winter fashions.
Just as important, the entire collection is underpinned by the brand’s unrivalled reputation for delivering more than beautiful shoes. At the heart of every pair there’s over 170 years of caring for children’s feet, plus rigorous wear tests make sure shoes and boots last longer and feel comfortable to play all day long.
I felt in love with Clarks Baby’ stylish and warm little boots, beautifully designed and lovingly crafted and created. It is available from newborns up to 9 months old. The cute Binkies range features a loveable trio of bunnies, Elfin, Poppi and Vienna, from rabbit ears and footprints on the uppers to bunnies playing in patterns in shoes – such a cute collection.
Sporty boys can wear Super Run with contemporary twist, while girls can wear Super Race with bright pops of colour, complementary laces and material mix. If your little ones prefer hi-top trainers, boys’ Full Pulse and girls’ Full Beam from Megalights range provides 360 degrees of fun with a beam of light wrapping around the sole.
Clarks also has a range for little fashionistas, Clarks Originals Desert Boots in eye-catching colours, such as pink, tan suedes and leopard print for girls, and black, tan suedes and cobalt blue leather for boys.
The iconic Clarks Originals Desert Boot has been remodelled especially for children, the Originals’ signature crepe sole has been reinterpreted in a hardwearing, textured rubber, ideal for little one’s feet. I love the cobalt blue leather boots, so cool!
Clarks’ Women AW14 collection is very impressive, seamlessly blending style and substance, with inspiration coming not only from the brand’s unique heritage but also from the catwalks and latest trends on the street. From smart to casual, shoes to boots, authenticity is given an unexpected twist with influences from the Clarks archives and iconic classics reinterpreted into contemporary styles.
One of my favourite is Amulet Crystal, available in red suede and black suede, gorgeous flat shoes yet stylish. I usually prefer heels, but I would be happy to wear the gorgeous Amulet Crystl from the picture above.
Orla Kiely returns for a second collaboration with Clarks, creating a capsule collection of six styles featuring a contemporary spin on 60s and 70s design. The collection is very trendy and modern, weaving classic rich autumnal tones of burgundy, ochre and red, with bold silhouettes and unexpected textures, my favourite is the Dorothy, a mid-heeled mary-jane, perfect as everyday shoes.
Clarks is not only about shoes, the stylish AW collection of bags and handbags are tailor-made to compliment the season’s trends. Classic silhouettes and innovative new shapes are delivered in must-have colours – whilst exciting textures and trims are the finishing touches making this the most desirable collection yet.
I simply love Miss Chantal in burgundy patent, it is also available in black combi, animal print and tan leather. It is trendy and spacious, perfect to keep my everyday belongings. Another favourite is the versatile envelop shaped Toft Hill in burgundy combi, also available in Grey combi.
There were also some stylish men’ shoes and boots at the preview. The biker’s boots were my favourite, they look durable and made to be worn over and over again! Now to decide which colour hubby would prefer…!
