Feel Good Cafe Pop-up by Weight Watchers
As a family, we love sharing tasty and nutritious meals together. When we heard about Weight Watchers Feel Good Cafe, we were intrigued to find more about their delicious feel-good dishes, we are already fans of Weight Watchers products. It is all about feeling good about the food you love to eat, so you can enjoy real and irresistible food experiences.
We visited the pop-up Feel Good Cafe in Hoxton Square and we were delighted with the choices on the dinner menu, from pizzas to sundaes! Yes, you read it right, cheesy pizzas and delicious ice cream after your meal.
The pop-up cafe is an evidence that you do not need to compromise on taste or satisfaction when you are watching your weight.
The menu has a wide range of dishes, you can choose to visit the cafe for breakfast, where you could choose from full English breakfast, bacon sandwich, cereals, yogurts and toast. For lunch, you could have a 2 course-meal, wraps, salads, curries or pizzas with a glass of wine, and then treat yourself to chilled desserts, hot puddings or ice cream cones.
For elevenses and afternoon tea, you will find cookies and biscuits, savoury snacks, cereal bars and cakes. Would you prefer Bakewell slices or carrot cake?
We visited the Feel Good Cafe for dinner, hubby picked bacon and grilled asparagus salad as starter, while I went for pea, mint and crème fraiche soup with petit pains. Little man said he didn’t want any starters, he wanted to have pizza for dinner, however once my soup arrived and he tried a spoon, he kept helping himself to more!
Hubby really his salad, it was light and summery, while my soup was thick and full of flavour. Little man loved his pizza, he had it all very quickly, then ordered soup!
For main course, I had a delicious Cumberland sausage, tomato and rocket flat bread pizza served with coleslaw. I love pizza, especially as a treat on weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to be served a flat bread pizza with Weight Watchers sausages and cheese, it was so tasty!
Hubby went for salmon and coriander rogan josh with naan bread and brown rice. He liked the combination of flavours and textures in the dish, and the fact it was served with both bread and rice, just like a normal curry, but without all the calories and fat.
After our meal, hubby and I had a toffee and honeycomb sundae while little man had a toffee cone. The sundaes were a perfect ending to a delicious meal. The whole family really enjoyed the dishes at the Feel Good Cafe, none of us could tell we were having diet food or anything like that.
The dishes were full of flavour and beautifully presented, they are prepared using fresh ingredients and Weight Watchers Foods, which are all readily available at most leading supermarkets.
The cafe is designed to challenge perfections; Weight Watchers Foods is using a live restaurant format to champion food choice, flavour, satisfaction and real food in the diet arena. You don’t have to feel deprived or guilty when you eat at the Feel Good Cafe, it is a place where you can eat food that helps you manage your weight without you having to manage your expectations.
