Go Ape Family Adventure with Vimto Squeezy

We love spending time together in a good family day out. We made the most of half term by visiting our local Go Ape to celebrate the launch of Vimto Squeezy.

We went to Go Ape in Black Part Country Park in Buckinghamshire for our Tree Top Junior Adventure, suitable for children from 6 to 12 years old. Although little man is 5, children over 1 metre are able to join the Tree Top Junior course as long as they are accompanied by an adult. We were more than happy to go with little man!

Tree Top Junior Adventure allows young adventurers to spend a fun-filled hour exploring the canopy. Young Tarzans can go through looping obstacles including the spider’s web, log balance, jungle crossing, and finish on a high with a cool zip wire.

Our adventure started with a safety briefing and getting fitted with safety equipment by an instructor. We enjoyed the open forest environment and being up on the trees, canopy exploring and trail blazing.

At first, little man was scared as he has never climbed a tree before, but soon he started to get more confident and enjoy it more.

There are two courses, an easier one with a green wire to hold on to, and a harder course without hand rails.

While we were there, other children went for the more difficult course, but little man preferred to stick to the easier course. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our visit.

The whole family enjoyed our first open forest adventure, our favourite part was going down the zip wire. While we were there, we were told about the Tree Top Adventure for grown-ups and it sounds exciting leaping off the Tarzan swing and high ropes crossings.

Upon completion of the course, little man was awarded his very own personalised certificate to bring home. After our adventure, we sat down for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink made with Vimto Squeezy.

Soft drink brand Vimto has launched new fruity water enhancers in small portable squeezy bottles.
