Samsung’s WW9000 Washing Machine Available Exclusively at John Lewis
A couple of weeks ago, I was introduced to Samsung’s WW9000, a washing machine unlike any other. Its unique and elegant minimalist design is available in two colour variants, white and graphite.
The intuitive user experience and smart touch screen takes the guess work out of doing the laundry – this washing machine knows exactly how much detergent you need to use according to the load and offers washing cycles to fit specific household and leisure tasks such as, cooking, gardening and active sports.
The Samsung WW9000 represents the future of the washing machine thanks to a raft of features, including:
- You can control your washing machine from your smartphone or tablet! Yes, you can pause or start your washing machine remotely and even receive notifications about the cycle.
- 5” LED Touchscreen rather than fiddly buttons and dials. In the demonstration, I’ve noticed that the touchscreen was easy to use, I particularly like the fact it remembers your ‘most used cycle’, so it is convenient and quick to do your next wash.
- Different programmes for different stains, such as ‘Gardening’ cycle shifts soil and grass stains, ‘Cooking & Dining’ gets rid of food and grease marks, and ‘Active Sports’ is good for the kids’ football kits.
- Super Speed Wash: you can now wash an average load of 5kg in just 59 minutes – or a load of 2kg or less with light soiling on a 15 minute wash.
- Eco-friendly: Samsung’s ecobubbleTM technology produces special bubbles which dissolve faster and deeper into your clothes in cold washes.
- No detergent drawer, holding up to a month’s worth of detergent in the drum and smartly dispenses just the right amount you need for each load.
- Bigger door designed higher up and with double hinges, means it’s easier for you to load and unload your laundry in the WW9000’s 10kg drum.
The WW9000 is super quiet thanks to its motor and 3D vibration sensor creating minimal noise even during fast spin speeds of up to 1600RPM – so you can put a load on at night and won’t be disturbed the next time you’re watching a movie or catching up on your favourite TV show.
This washing machine is not only smart, it is also beautifully designed so it can take pride of place in your home rather than being hidden away in a utility room or cupboard. Its translucent blue crystal gloss door refracts light to create a spectrum of colours.
Furthermore, it comes with a five year warranty: If there’s one thing the recession taught us, it’s to invest in quality – to spend money on things that will last and make our lives easier. The WW9000 does this and more – plus it comes with a 5-year warranty.
Samsung’s WW9000 washing machine is available to buy in the UK exclusively at John Lewis from this week, followed by other major high street, online and independent retailers later this year. Pricing for the WW9000 is subject to individual retailers.
