I have wanted a new set of pans for a while, but haven’t got round to go shopping. Luckily I ordered a new set through Asda Direct and last night dinner was cooked in our shiny new pans.
Life is so busy, we are always on the go from the moment we wake up until late at night. We love cooking and making nutritious family meals, our current set of pans lasted for 7 good years, but it is on its last legs with broken lids and handles.
Whenever I look for everyday items, I want to spend some time reading about them, comparing prices and researching properly – something I can’t really do during grocery shopping.
Asda Direct is perfect for busy parents, you can order online at the comfort of your own home, whenever it suits you, choosing from next day delivery or click and collect service.
Click and Collect is free of charge, and available for grocery, Direct and George shopping online, including everyday items, gifts, electrical and toys.
Shopping online at Asda Direct was extremely easy and straightforward. First I searched for ‘non-stick pans’, then I sorted by price.
I found some reasonably priced own brand non-stick pans, substantially cheaper than branded non-stick pans.
I put together my very own set, including non-stick 18cm saucepan (RRP £7.00) and non-stick 20cm saucepan (RRP £8.00), perfect to cook everyday dinners.
Asda non-stick pans are lightweight aluminium with a non-stick Teflon coating, featuring cool touch, easy grip handle and vented glass lid to lock in flavour. They are dishwasher safe, suitable for all hobs, expect induction.
Non-stick 28cm frying pan (RRP £10.00) will be great to make stir-fry and paella. My favourite pan is non-stick 24cm grill pan (RRP £8.00). I wanted a grill pan for some time to make healthy and nutritious family meals.
I purchased 4 essential pans for only £33, showing that you can buy quality own brand pans for a fraction of the price of branded non-stick, so switching to supermarket’s own brand can save you money.
While I was browsing online for pans, somehow a gorgeous bedding set appeared on my shopping basket. I am not sure how it happened, but George home natural duvet set (RRP £6.50 for kingsize) was too pretty to put back – and who doesn’t like new bedding?!
It is a lovely duvet set with two pillowcases, made from a super soft cotton mix in a beautiful print. It is part of Asda’s 100 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, available on all clothing and homeware.
The whole online shopping experience was quick and easy, I received an email confirmation when the order was placed and dispatched, and a text message to let me know that the order arrived at my chosen store.
Click and Collect is free and so convenient, I picked up my order when I was ready and I am very pleased with the service and quality of the items.
I am looking forward to many relaxing evenings on our new duvet set and many delicious burgers and steaks on our new grill pan. For research purposes, I had to make quarter pounder burgers with chips and salad for dinner – just to make sure that the grill pan worked!
