Tesco Ride ‘n’ Dine: London Restaurant Taxi Service #MyFitLifestyle

Yesterday I had a rather different lunch break, instead of rushing around, trying to eat and multitasking at the same time, I tried Tesco Ride ‘n’ Dine, a London restaurant on wheels.

Ideally, I would like to sit down for every single meal, however it is not always the case. Apparently I am not alone, according to a recent research six out of ten people regularly eat at their desk at work or on the move, and almost 90 per cent of those surveyed said they make unhealthy food choices due to their busy lifestyles.

Tesco Ride ‘n’ Dine is a free pre-booked taxing service to mark the launch of the brand new healthy eating range my fit lifestyle, running from Wednesday 18th June until Tuesday 24th June, excluding Saturday and Sunday. It offers excellent service and tasty options from my lifestyle range while you travel to work, meetings and around London.

You can choose your meal from a varied selection of yummy breakfasts, tasty lunches, delicious dinners, flavoursome snacks and refreshing drinks.

So what did I pick for my lunch on the go?

I went for Mediterranean Graze box with baked falafels, super food salad, chilli spiced broccoli and edamame beans, served with yogurt dip. My lunch was enjoyed with mandarin and lime vitamin water, and sweet chilli oat cakes.

I really enjoyed the experience, the food was very tasty and full of flavour. Ride ‘n’ Dine is perfect for all of those that are busy and on-the-go, but would like to eat healthily.

My fit lifestyle range, which is launching initially in London, builds on a new and emerging trend in the US for personalised eating plans. To make shopping the range easy, my fit lifestyle zones will be created in Tesco stores and Tesco.com, with products colour-coded according to five different calorie bands, so customers can see at a glance which products fit their personal plans. They will be able to count their calories on Tesco’s Health and Wellbeing website and app.
