Back to School: TU School Uniform by Sainsbury’s
Half way through the school holidays, and little man just asked me when he is going back to school. I said it will be in three weeks and he mentioned that he misses school and his friends.
He is really looking forward to starting Year 1 in September, and he was excited to go to Sainsbury’s to check out TU school uniforms.
During our visit to Sainsbury’s, we found a selection of school uniform for boys and girls, including v-neck jumpers, cardigans and sweatshirts in a range of colours, such as red, royal blue, black, green, navy, grey and navy.
We could see polo shirts in white, black, yellow, red and blue, you can choose from a unisex design or cute girly polo shirts with flower buttons.
Little man’s uniform is white polo, red jumper, black trousers and black shoes, and we could find everything we were looking for, at reasonable prices.
Polo shirts come in a pack of 3 unisex stain resistant polo shirts for £7, featuring bionic finish plus, which keeps colours and fabrics looking newer longer.
The polo shirts are stain resistant, water repellent and breathable; they are easy iron, machine washable at 40C and tumble dry.
Boys trousers are available in pack of 2 permanent crease trousers for £6, they are stain repellent and hardwearing with adjustable waist and secure hem. The trousers feature Teflon fabric protection with advanced dual action, which repels spills and releases ground in stains easily with laundering.
The perfect crease in the trousers is due to a unique and permanent crease application formulated to last the life of the garment, remaining sharp and crisp. Just what you need to keep boys looking smart throughout the academic year!
Coated Leather Boys Shoes are £16, they are scuff resistant, water resistant and easy clean. The breathable shoes incorporates Micro-fresh technology to reduce odour. Little man finds his school shoes very comfortable, and the upper coated leather make them look smart.
Unisex sweatshirts are available in a pack of 2 for £4, they are cotton rich sweatshirts that feel soft and comfortable on little ones’ skin. Little man is very pleased with his TU school uniform and he can’t wait to wear them in September.
I must confess that little man gets quite messy at school, I can’t blame him, as he is only 5 years old! When looking for school uniforms, my top tips are:
- Look out for easy iron shirts and polo shirts, they are easy to care, and in my experience, you can get away without ironing them, as long as creases are straighten when damp.
- Choose stain resistant uniform that will look fresh for longer and last the whole academic year.
- Go for scuff resistant and easy clean shoes, which survive little ones playing and running in the school playground, and still look presentable after a few months of wear and tear.
What are your top tips to keep school uniform looking presentable?
