Breaded Prawn and Mushrooms Recipe in De’Longhi Multifry
I can confidently say that our De’Longhi Multifry has changed our cooking, making it more enjoyable and healthy too. De’Longhi Multifry is a low-oil air fryer and multicooker, with a unique and innovative Surround Heat System.
We have made several family meals on it, including Greek style meatballs keftedes, Traditional Brazilian pastel and Prawn and Mixed Peppers Risotto. Since it is a low-oil air fryer, we put it to the test by making a typically fried recipe.
I’ve used the recipe for ‘Fried Prawns’ from the De’Longhi Multifry Recipe Book app as guidance to cook breaded prawn and breaded mushrooms, served with chips. It was easy to make, and very tasty – perfect as a mid-week dinner recipe when you don’t have much time to cook.
- 300g prawn tails
- 300g mushrooms
- 300g frozen fries
- 2 eggs
- flour, to taste
- bread crumbs, to taste
- oil, level 5
- Remove the head from the prawn and peel well.
- Dredge first in flour, then in the beaten egg and then in bread crumbs.
- Remove the paddle from the bowl.
- Put the oil in the bottom of the bowl, close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
- Heat the oil for 1 minute.
- Add the prawns and cook for 4 minutes. If they are large, cook half of the prawns at the time.
- Turn the prawn over and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Repeat the same for the mushrooms.
- Add the paddle and cook the frozen fries for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
